Administration and Accounting Supervisor - Bilingual (French/English)

Specific responsibilities

Reporting to the Administration and Accounting Manager, the supervisor is responsible for financial and administrative services to ensure the processing of money received, collection of money, and providing service to our brokers/insureds in Ontario, Manitoba, Edmonton, Quebec and British Columbia. This is a new position and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing procedures, guidelines and templates. They will be required to launch and monitor these new processes. 

Customer service to our Brokers, Insureds and underwriters is part of this role along with the processing of returned bank items (NSF). The successful candidate will also be responsible for the administration team.  They will be required to monitor and oversee staffing levels along with event organization, supply orders, mailroom and reception duties.

We are looking to hire someone to work in our North Bay office. We have a hybrid work model that preserves the balance between working from home and that in-person interacting which is so valuable. 

Work Experience and Aptitudes 

We are looking for a bilingual (French/English) candidate. In order to meet the requirements of this position, the candidate must have post secondary education or comparable previous experience. The candidate should be recognized for their good communication skills (verbal and written), efficient keyboarding, and attention to detail. They must be a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
