The Position

Due to our continued growth and diversification strategies, we are looking to add a Senior Manager to the actuarial team at our head office in downtown Montreal.

As a senior member of the actuarial team reporting to the Vice President, Actuarial Pricing, the SENIORMANAGER will be responsible for the overall activities of the pricing team, providing business, auto and home recommendations for the provinces of Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, British Columbia and Alberta. They will develop pricing standards, methodologies and policies for property and casualty products and participate in the profitable growth of products through analysis, modeling and projections. As a high-level professional, they will propose solutions to improve and optimize processes, programs and work methods. They will also contribute to the resolution of complex problems, requiring a comprehensive and in-depth analysis and understanding of all variables, collaborate with various internal stakeholders and contribute to the transfer of knowledge through the coaching and management of the team members. They could be involved in corporate projects.

The Profile

The ideal candidate has at least eight years of experience, a bachelor's degree in actuarial science or mathematics with an actuarial option and has a strong entrepreneurial profile, is autonomous, curious and daring; They like to take on exciting challenges and are willing to put in the necessary effort to develop quickly: a dynamic and results-oriented leader. Their experience will demonstrate their ability to recommend excellent business decisions based on a rigorous analysis of the company's portfolio and market data. Bilingualism (French and English) is mandatory. FCIA, FCAS designation will be an asset.
