Senior Analyst, Premium Management

By joining our team, you'll be managing customer premiums and making accounting entries for the accounts department. You will ensure compliance with the information contained in our management system and legal treaties. As a Senior Analyst, Premium Management, you will validate cession information at the time of claims and process ceding files electronically.

 

Main responsabilities

Premium management

  • Validate discrepancies between premiums received and premiums receivable
  • Analyze and compare these discrepancies with the agreements
  • Identify and analyze transactions to be processed in the system
  • Ensure that transactions are executed
  • Follow-up to ensure that changes have been made
  • Manage customers from our Dallas subsidiary transferred to Montreal.

Data production and validation

  • Complete claims audits and follow up on awaiting premium files
  • Enter electronic batch processing
  • Auto-approval of $250K and more of new business and amendments
  • Make manual adjustments to the system according to the approved authority grid
  • Make corrections following internal audits and checklists

Customer service

  • Provide support to internal and external customers
  • Communicate with customers in the event of discrepancies
  • Follow up with customers and identify appropriate solutions

 

Education and Work Experience

  • DEC in administration with more than 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent options
  • Advanced mastery of Excel
  • Knowledge of Office tools
  • Experience in insurance/reinsurance an asset
  • Experience in accounting an asset

  • Communication skills (French and English, spoken and written - Society in Dallas and Ontario)
