Treaty Analyst - Remote position
Optimum Re Insurance Company / Dallas / Permanent / Full time
Apply for this positionCreate and maintain reinsurance agreements. Serve as point of contact for internal and external clients regarding treaty related questions/requests.
Responsibilities:
• Draft and review reinsurance agreement documents (treaties, amendments, letters).
• Review and evaluate information needed from sources such as internal and external clients, letters of intent, existing agreements, internet, and email correspondence.
• Utilize model language as the basis for drafting, creation of special language as necessary.
• Present documents for signature and manage the signature process.
• Maintain agreements on document management system.
• Maintain workflow movement with timely entry of new requests and status updates.
• Support internal and external clients with treaty information and interpretation
• Confirm understanding of complex treaty language through team meetings and consultations.
• Produce periodic reports.
• Assist with department and associated projects as requested.
Qualifications:
• Experience 3+ years of life insurance/reinsurance preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• LOMA credentials preferred
Skills:
Ability to understand contract/agreement language and other legal documents
Excellent communication skills; Technical writing; Mastery of written English
Ability to think logically
Great organizational and follow through skills
Attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook), particularly Word
Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat or other PDF applications preferred
Experience with e-signature platforms such as OneSpan and DocuSign preferred
Ability to find reliable information on the internet
